Product Overview
The DDSI.TIP.HINGE is a serviceable dump body hinge assembly designed for dump body repair, replacement, and new upfits. The hinge feet are spaced 30" center to center, matching the rear hinge layout used on NeuStar and Beau-Roc dump bodies.
The complete assembly measures 36" long, 5" wide, and 5" high, with 25.5" between the inside edges of the hinge feet. The feet sit at a 5.5" height, and each foot measures 7.5" × 4.5". The assembly is built on a .38" thick base plate.
The DDSI.TIP.HINGE uses removable 2" 4140 steel hinge pins and hardened bearing steel bushings. These wear components can be removed for cleaning or replacement, allowing the hinge to be serviced without replacing the complete assembly. A replacement pin kit is available separately.
Internal helical grease grooves distribute grease around the pins and across the wear surfaces. Buna O-ring seals help keep dirt, sand, and debris from entering between the pins and bushings.
Integrated mounting locations for gladhands and ID lights keep air connections and rear lighting organized and out of the way, creating a clean rear layout for replacement work and new dump body upfits.
