The WABCO 4325000050 control line filter protects the ECU/dual-modulator valve in WABCO Roll Stability Support Plus (RSS+) trailer ABS systems. WABCO requires an in-line filter—or a WABCO control gladhand with an integrated filter—on RSS+ installations.
This filter installs in the trailer’s service/control line upstream of the RSS+ ECU/valve assembly, capturing dirt and other air-system contaminants before they reach the braking control components. It has two 1/2"-14 NPTF female ports, an 80–140 micron filter screen, bidirectional airflow and a maximum operating pressure of 20 bar (approximately 290 PSI). Overall dimensions are approximately 65 × 93 × 83 mm.
Install the filter with the filter section facing downward and the air ports horizontal. The assembly must be rigidly supported by nipple mounting at the gladhand or with a suitable bracket and clamp. Allow at least 3.5" of clearance to remove the retaining slide and 2" below the filter to remove and service the internal components.
WABCO recommends inspecting and cleaning the internal filter screen every three to four months, or more frequently in applications exposed to excessive dirt and dust.
