Product Overview
The APSCO C-6222-PK-M is a twin high-lift air cylinder for raising and lowering high-lift tailgates on dump bodies. It operates using compressed air and features two 3.5" bores with a 22" stroke.
APSCO’s twin-cylinder design provides lifting force for taller tailgates while keeping the assembly narrow. This helps preserve usable dump body width where a larger single cylinder would require more mounting space.
The two piston rods connect to a shared crossbar with one common tailgate attachment, allowing both cylinders to extend and retract together. This combines the force of the two cylinders through a single connection to the tailgate.
The assembly features tie-rod construction and high-tensile steel piston rods plated for corrosion resistance. Standard rod wipers help keep dirt and debris away from the rod seals. Maximum operating pressure is 130 PSI.
